This is a rare and beautiful #50 FFK Emperor from Pilot, produced c. 1989. The pen is titled Kissho-mon, or “good luck”, done with a pheasant theme. The artist of the pen is none other than the famous maki-e master, Hyakusen Murata. Although the pens were not numbered, very few were actually produced and were made exclusively for the Executives of Pilot/Namiki Corporation.
The pen is in perfect condition, never used or even remotely close to ink. It has been vault kept up until it was photographed for this listing. The pen comes with all original packaging: outside white box, inner wooden presentation box with writing, 2 pamphlets, polishing cloth, and eye dropper. The original model/style number for the pen is FFK3000P-KI-F.
