This towel is not chemically treated as other towels on themarket-the cooling effect is natural and created by the xylitol process withinthe manufacturing process. The ice mate towel offers a 2 sided feature overother towels. A mesh side for fast cooling and a cloth side for soft drying.The fabric combinations of this towel keep it soft to the skin whether wet ordry not like other towels that become hard and stiff when they dry out.
